How often should an industrial floor be machine cleaned?

It depends on traffic. Busy goods-in and gangway areas often need a short interval while low-traffic storage areas can go much longer, which is why we set frequency per zone.

What happens if a visit is missed?

We arrange cover so the visit still happens. If a date has to move, we agree the new date with you rather than dropping the visit.

Do you cover our area?

We work across Lancashire and the surrounding commercial radius from Preston. If a site is at the edge of that, we say so when you enquire rather than after.

What to know about factory floor cleaning

Residue, not just dirt

Production floors carry cutting oil, coolant, flour, sugar, fats or resin dust depending on what the plant makes. Identifying the residue decides the chemistry, and getting that wrong is why some floors stay slippery after cleaning.

Working inside a real window

A shutdown week or a gap between shifts is a fixed window. We size the team and the number of machines to that window at survey stage, so the plan is finishing the agreed area rather than getting part-way through it.

Evidence for your compliance file

Where cleaning forms part of a hygiene or safety case, we can supply the method statement, risk assessment and a record of what was cleaned on each visit, so the schedule is something you can show rather than describe.
